Heads rolled this past week at CNN over FAKE NEWS involving President Trump and the Russia scandal. Seems it’s all fake news (propaganda) designed to unseat the POTUS conjured up by CNN. Since then CNN and the president have been battling on Twitter including the president releasing a video in which he is seen beating up an individual with the CNN logo covering his face.
Additionally, a CNN producer was filmed commenting that American voters are as “stupid as shit” and that ignited yet another firestorm. Also, the Trump administration has requested voter names and info from various states claiming they want to expose voter fraud in the last election. Trump maintains he won not only the electoral college vote but also the popular vote. However, statistics say Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million votes.
Also, Trump hosted a fundraiser last week and raised millions (I think about $10 million) from donor for his 2020 re-election bid. A bit early don’t you think? He’s only been in office for slightly over 5 months! And he’s already focused on re-election?
Meanwhile the latest Congressional pillaging of the poor and working poor (aka: healthcare reform) is slowly moving along and the Senate has postponed its vote until after the July 4 recess. Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell seems to have overestimated support for the bill and needs to the time work out a compromise with Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Rand Paul among others who oppose the Senate bill. President Trump has called on Congress to simply repeal Obamacare and come up with a replacement “later.”
Trump has been hot and heavy on Twitter and most of his supporters want him to stop using Twitter as they feel it is harming the GOP agenda. Trump has said his being on Twitter is effectively the new way for the POTUS to communicate with voters bypassing the middle man (aka: mainstream media). I don’t disagree with him being on Twitter but perhaps he needs to be a bit more careful about what he Tweets as he seems a bit like a loose canon at times.
Trump has also been involved this past week in a Twitter battle with MSNBC’s Mike and Scarborough. At one point the MSNBC hosts said Trump has a fragile ego and when anyone attacks his fragile ego is first response is to attack. Well he does have a big ego and typically that’s a sign of a fragile ego also!
Meanwhile, Wall Street is loving the Trump presidency as the rich and getting much richer. Employment is down and Trump has said that the MSM doesn’t report the good economic news. He’s right about that and there does indeed seem to be a concerted effort by the MSM to push the anti-Trump agenda (read Communist agenda). The MSM fancies itself as the 4th branch of government when in REALITY is is NOTHING of the sort, frankly! They are NOT a branch of the government!! They are suppose to be reporting the NEWS not social engineering or pushing their beloved Leftist Communist agenda! These people really need to come down off their high horse and start being reporters again. NOTHING qualifies them to be social engineers and thus far all they’ve created is a DISASTER!
And so the saga of the American Banana Republic continues………………………..what a shame!!
